hazim and the new asymptotes hey. hazim here...again. I think Stars were my top act for last year, with "My Favorite Book" and "The Night Starts Here" being really stupendous and all. It's like, if you want a hush-hush epic when Dido's not coming out with them anymore, without feeling too gloomy (note Portishead), then you've Canadian Stars. They've got the whole Asobi Seksu atmosphere thing going, but with a lot better melody. Actually, Asobi Seksu don't even have any melody at all. Yeah, so this is fromtheir new EP Sad Robots, which came out on September 1. It's brilliant new material to hold people off until a full length album materializes.
