hey. hazim here...again. The Pixies have a song about slicing eyeballs. And there's a song about mouthwash. So there's no reason for there NOT to be a song about pencils, right? Yeah, so the band is Chairlift. And the song is "Evident Utensil". And it's dance-able, in the vein of Cut Copy's signature sound, but with the voice of a woman who, when she pleas "how hard must I try for you?", sounds both glum and giddy at the same time. And who couldn't love a song with the line "the most evident utensil, is none other than a pencil?". Five stars for this fun song!!! Hazim. Out.
